Activities
Old Age Care
For over five and a half years, Tejaswi Foundation has been operating a free residential old age home for destitute senior citizens who have no children or family support, and those whose children lack resources to provide adequate care. We provide comfortable accommodation, nutritious meals, medical assistance, and compassionate companionship, ensuring every resident lives their golden years with dignity, respect, and joy in a caring environment.
Eye Care Camp & Operations
Tejaswi Foundation conducts regular eye check-up camps and facilitates eye operations at free or minimal cost for underprivileged individuals. Our vision care program has helped hundreds regain their sight, enabling them to live independently. Through partnerships with medical professionals, we ensure quality treatment, from cataract surgeries to corrective procedures, bringing light and hope into lives darkened by visual impairment and financial constraints.
Cancer Awareness Camp
Our cancer awareness camps educate communities about early detection, prevention, and treatment options. We conduct free screening sessions, distribute informational materials, and provide counseling to help people understand cancer risks and symptoms. Through these initiatives, we strive to remove stigma, promote timely medical intervention, and support affected families with guidance, creating awareness that saves lives and strengthens community health resilience.
Blood Donation Camp
Regular blood donation camps organized by Tejaswi Foundation encourage community members to donate blood and save lives. These camps address critical blood shortages in hospitals while promoting the culture of voluntary donation. We ensure safe collection procedures, medical supervision, and donor recognition. Every unit collected represents hope for emergency patients, accident victims, and those undergoing surgeries, making our community true lifesavers.
Health Check-up Camp
Comprehensive health check-up camps provide free medical examinations, diagnostic tests, and consultations to underserved populations. Our medical team screens for diabetes, hypertension, and other chronic conditions, offering preventive care guidance and necessary referrals. These camps bring healthcare to doorsteps, ensuring early disease detection and promoting healthy lifestyles, particularly benefiting those who cannot afford regular medical check-ups.
Surgical Support
Tejaswi Foundation assists economically disadvantaged individuals requiring surgical interventions by providing financial support and facilitating access to quality medical care. From minor procedures to major operations, we coordinate with hospitals and surgeons to ensure affordable treatment. Our medical assistance program has enabled countless patients to receive life-saving surgeries they otherwise couldn’t afford, restoring health and hope to families in crisis.
Education Support
We provide essential school supplies including books, uniforms, stationery, and bags to marginalized students, removing financial barriers to education. Our educational support program ensures underprivileged children can attend school with dignity and confidence. By investing in their education, we’re empowering the next generation, breaking the cycle of poverty, and creating opportunities for brighter futures filled with knowledge, skills, and aspirations.
Tree Plantation
Our environmental conservation efforts include regular tree plantation drives across communities, schools, and public spaces. We mobilize volunteers to plant saplings, promote green cover, and combat climate change. Each tree planted represents our commitment to environmental sustainability, providing oxygen, improving air quality, and creating healthier ecosystems. Through awareness and action, we’re nurturing a greener planet for future generations.
Waste Management
Tejaswi Foundation promotes effective waste management practices through community education and practical initiatives. We conduct awareness sessions on segregation, composting, and recycling, encouraging responsible waste disposal. Our programs help reduce environmental pollution, promote cleanliness, and create sustainable habits. By transforming waste management attitudes, we’re building cleaner neighborhoods and protecting our environment from the harmful effects of improper waste disposal.
Ration Distribution
During times of need and regularly throughout the year, we distribute food rations to economically vulnerable families, ensuring no one goes hungry. Our ration distribution program provides essential groceries including grains, pulses, oil, and staples to those struggling with poverty. This support brings nutritional security, relieves financial stress, and demonstrates our commitment to community welfare and human dignity.
Clothes Distribution
We organize clothing distribution drives, providing new and gently used garments to underprivileged individuals and families. From children’s wear to winter clothing, our initiative ensures everyone has access to basic necessities regardless of their economic status. These drives bring warmth, dignity, and smiles to those who need them most, reinforcing our belief in compassionate community support.
Women’s Health Awareness Camp
Our women’s health camps focus on reproductive health, maternal care, nutrition, and disease prevention through free check-ups, screenings, and educational sessions. We create safe spaces where women can discuss health concerns, receive medical guidance, and access preventive care. These camps empower women with knowledge about their bodies, promote early disease detection, and strengthen overall community health through informed, healthy women.
Women Empowerment
Tejaswi Foundation conducts skill development training for women in spice making, beauty parlor services, and other vocational skills, enabling economic independence and self-reliance. Our empowerment programs provide practical training, business guidance, and confidence-building support. By equipping women with marketable skills, we’re creating entrepreneurs, strengthening families, and fostering gender equality through sustainable livelihoods and financial autonomy.
